Your Financial Health and Its Impact on Your Mental Health

| October 25, 2022

As you may know, October is Mental Health awareness month. It’s a beautiful thing to be living in a day and age that not only brings attention to mental health, but also celebrates the courage and strength of those able to talk openly about a subject once identified as taboo.

I don’t know about you, but two things that always leave me feeling lost at sea are a lack of information and lack of planning. The two combined quickly add up to a loss of control which tops the list when people identify reasons for poor mental health.

Partnering with clients to help them gain control of their financial health is by far one of the most rewarding aspects of my work. More than once I’ve had clients tell me they sleep more soundly after taking a close look at their finances, gaining an understanding of what all the numbers mean and establishing a plan that helps them sail toward their desired horizon.

It’s a beautiful time of the year to take a mental health day, get outside to enjoy the changing of seasons, take a moment to acknowledge all those who serve as wind in your sails and remind yourself just how awesome you really are.
